I'm still upset I didn't buy any Ginter the first year it came out. Didn't spend too much on cards that year but unfortunately wasted money on Bowman Heritage or some crap set like that. Love opening Ginter since my first pack getting a Alamo Printing Plate shortly followed by a Kershaw auto...I was hooked!

I know, right? I think it's great to get something better than the same old "Who is that player?" cards all the time. Maybe you don't know who this skateboarder is, but when you find out you're thinking, "Darn, this guy is pretty cool!"

Though I agree with your first post, and I firmly believe that the mini insert sets (Portraits, Step Right Up, etc.) should all be 1:24, so you get roughly 1 per box. Would help their value slightly and give people more minis than the five sets of Step Right Up that I seem to have.

2011 Ginter was the second product I opened after 2011 Topps Series 2. I was absolutely hooked with the minis. At first I hated them and now I can't get enough of them.
