    Vancouver Expo?

Just curious if there is a western Canada version of the TO Spring Expo? Reading all these threads about sick hits and awesome company reps has got me all bummed out haha

While not on the same scale, there are the Bossa shows.

You can't even compare "The Big One" with the Expo.

Haha I wouldn't know, I've never been to a card show...the stuff people are hauling in from the Expo is insane. Maybe I need to try and plan a trip next year...and figure out how to get my girl to come with for extra goodies haha

Haha, well my comments are based on people's comments/experiences who've been to both. The Expo is much larger and people from all over the world make the trip to Toronto. "The Big One" is just a larger version of the monthly Vancouver show - same dealers, same prices, etc. There are a couple other dealers who set up, but it's not the same thing.

Yeah looking at the Bossa site, it kinda looks like visiting Vegas vs. visiting Reno...

Hence why I said it's "not on the same scale" - just giving the man some direction. :)

Well I appreciate all the direction I can get, either seem like fun, with the Expo be more fun...does ITG not set up at the Bossa shows? And do Panini and UD offer redemption's there?

The next monthly show in Vancouver is on the 27th at the Bonsor Community Center ( close to Metrotown ). There are a bunch of us SCF and HI members that go every month.

2 of the 12 months, they do a bigger show. "The Big One" was just 2 months ago, and the next "Big One" will be in Oct I believe in Langley.

Ive never been to the Toronto show, but ive been told its a good 5x - 10x bigger than the big show put on here.

The 2 day shows are much better than the regular 1 day monthlies, with dealers coming from all around Western Canada, and a few even come from back East. You also get all the regular dealers at the 2 day show as well.

The 1 day shows are kind of boring, and your able to go through everything in an hour or so ( might be longer if you've never been to one =P ). I usually go and meet up the 10 - 15 regulars every month, and we try and do some pack wars and trading.

It might be on a much smaller scale compared to the Toronto shows, but its still a fun way to spend a Sunday morning / afternoon!

The only time a company has set up when I was there was a few years back and BTP was released. The guy working the booth didnt seem impressed with how busy the table was ...... even though he knew that we cleaned out all the BTP boxes the show had available. He said he was a little disappointed with the dealers, not having enough of the product to open. I know in our 10ish person circle, we busted a good 6 cases ..... all bought at the show. UD and Panini have never been out here ....... the West isnt important
