Chara new exactly what he was doing. We all watched him chase him for three games until he got him but because it's the Habs everyone's happy Max got it.

I think you're really over-estimating how many fans actually really give a care about what happens to the Habs, good or bad. A lot of Habs fans only say 'people love to hate the Habs' for the simple reason that others are in disagreement with how Habs fans look at it.
