Islanders Bits: Tracking Niederreiter and Johansen
It's been hashed and rehashed and will be hashed evermore about the decision to play 2010 draftees Ryan Johansen, Nino Niederreiter and Brett Connolly in the NHL this year. Each of the big forwards drafted 4-5-6 two summers ago saw their lumps and scratches as they spent this season in the limbo that by agreement allows for no AHL.

I can only imagine what the Winterhawks team would be with Johansen and Nino this year. Finals without them, shoot they might have gone undefeated!
