Stats to back up whoever you claim is the best or claim is the worst.
More stats updated a few years ago though so some players arent on it. This time just game winning shots.

Those "stats" don't mention almost anything that most people will use in their opinion here, and that is the eye test. Stats are great, but they can't convince people (Atleast me) otherwise based on what i'm watching.
Most people can watch and see how unclutch a guy like LeBron is or how clutch a guy like Kobe is. We don't need stats for that.

You are right.. Picking one or 2 instances out of hundreds and doing an "eye test" is much more accurate then doing a test of all games over the course of a season or even the playoffs. The player you mention has been playing like one of the best clutch players in the NBA this post season
Im not arguing for one person or the other. Just giving hard stats to those who want to see how these players are actually performing during clutch time. Thats all im saying on the subject.

just goes to show you espn and the media determine who is clutch or not. Even if the players actual performance proves otherwise.

Hey, if a player wants to be "clutch" in the regular season, then go into hiding in the postseason, that is all on them, but it's different being clutch against the Warriors than it is to be clutch on the biggest stage.

Clutch is mainly a state of mind.
A lot of emphasis is put on taking and making shots during the clutch and rightly so. But I also think to be 'clutch' a player must also step up their defensive side too. Theres no point making a 2 point drive to the basket with 3.2 left on the clock to tie the game if on the next possession you're going to let your counterpart take an easy jumper.

I was starting to state something about those stats because I couldn't remember that many attempts for the guys I follow. It would benefit those looking to actually read what data they are pulling. Not necessarily game winning shots. Could be considered clutch but with clock stops, fouls and timeouts the pressure is not necessarily on with 24 seconds left.
