04-05 Sweet Shot/SPx Box Break
I would label the outcome a "near bust". Here's what I pulled:
1st Sweet Shot box:
Borderline ridiculously sized RCs of J.R. Smith & Dorell Wright. Why do they make cards this big? I can understand the quad patch, autographed piece of bone type cards being this big, but not the regular RCs. Now I have to make a special trip to the hobby shop to purchase special storage bins for these cards. Anyway, I also pulled a Nowitzki regular jersey, a Kenyon Martin Sweet Swatches, and a Jamaal Wilkes Signature Shots. My first thought on the Wilkes was, "Ooh, an old guy auto." But then I realized I had no clue who he was and the fact that I was going to have to look him up to find out if he was any good was probably not a good thing. To make matters worse, the goofball had to sign his name all giant-like so in reality I have a "Jamaal Wilke" autograph. All in all, a pretty crappy bust. Next!
2nd Sweet Shot box:
More gi-normous RCs of Andre Emmett and Sergei Monia. You know, I don't mind going to the hobby shop to buy special enclosures for actual good cards, but I'm not too happy to be making special purchases for "some dude" and "some other dude". Maybe I'll just loop some string through them and hang them from my Christmas tree. The GUs I pulled were a Bosh regular jersey and a Parker Sweet Swatches. The auto was a Signature Shots of Shawn Marion. Meh...
SPx:
Obviously frustrated at this point, the SPx box starts out okay with a Carmelo/Andre Miller Winning Combos, but then quickly turns to Khryapa as I get a RC of him and Justin Reed. Then somewhere in the middle I pull a Bryant/Odom Winning Combos, which I probably would have been happy with had I not just had two crap Sweet Shot breaks. So now I'm down to my last two packs and I haven't pulled either the auto RC or the Winning Materials. The first packs contains the auto RC of..... Sasha Vujacic... At that point I didn't really care about the last pack and thought I'd probably get stiffed out of the Winning Materials since I had pulled two Winning Combos. So I rip it open and low and behold a Winning Materials of Michael Jordan. Needless to say I was much happier about the whole thing. Plus it was the first Jordan GU that I actually pulled, and a pretty sweet looking one to boot.
Anyway, all are for trade except the Jordan. Looking for stuff in my sig.

allstar: The MJ is not for trade, although I do like some of your Baby Bulls autos.
Kobe12: Didn't see anything I needed at the moment. Sorry.
theprofessor: Man, it would have been a completely opposite experience if I did it in reverse. It would have been "Vujacic? Who cares?! Gots me a sweet Jordan GU!" instead of the profanity laced outburst that it was. And those RCs are complete crap. Of course, had I gotten somebody good I'd probably be singing a different tune. What kind of housing do I need to get for those cards anyway? Will the extra thick topholders cover it?

Maybe the Jordan Greater Heights insert. Did you ever happen see if you had any other Jordans not on your list, outside of the MJ's Back base?

I'd be interested in the Deng Autographics, Mark of Excellence, and the Ultimate RC auto. LMK if I've got any cards that you might be interested in dealing any of those Dengs for. Thanks.
