I have never had a problem with it but there is a risk. I have found the best way if there is change involved is to use a 35pt top loader. That way the change doesn't move around.

That being said I have not done it in a couple of years just due to paypal/risk of someone noticing a round lump in an envelope

If it's just dollar bills then put them in a top loader, then wrap that top loader in two or three pieces of 8x11 paper. Put this in a small bubble mailer and you shouldn't have a problem. Always a good idea to get tracking numbers. As far as sending first? You may have to work that out with whoever you are trading with.

I send cash TTM about 40 or so times and havent had one issue. I just put it in a top loader and PWE and tape it shut. 1 stamp does the trick.

Anything over 20$ I usually use a mailer and DC.

I usually just offer to send first as well, even if they have less feedback.

Why not just send it in something like a birthday or christmas card. No one would be suspiscious of that.
