Beckett auto authentication
Hey all I was wondering if the Beckett auto authentication process was worth trying. I have a few older autos of Wayne Gretzky, Brett Hull and Denis Savard (all on card) that I got from an old friend who went to a hockey camp with all of them back in the early 90s. I just want to make sure that they are legit and I don't know of anywhere else to have them checked. They were done IP so no COA to go on but would love to have them slabbed if they are legit (mainly the Gretzky). Any knowledge would be awesome. Thanks.

Here's a pic of the Gretzky and Hull autos. Can anyone on here tell if they are legit or should I just send them in to see? Or is there any other, probably better ideas? I would really like to know if they are legit. I got them for free, more or less from someone I used to hang with but his word is all I have to go on. He does have pics with Gretzky, Hull, Sergei Makarov and Denis Savard who all made appearances at this camp. Thanks for any help.

Also, the guys name is Terry so the Hull looks pretty good, seeing how it says "to Terry". I have 3 Hulls that I got from him with this being the only one that says that. Wayne's script looks pretty sweet though, with the 99 on it.

Here's a thread where BGS authenticated a facsimile autograph

You can decide for yourself.
If it helps, the GRetzky isn't an autopen and looks legit based on memory.

Based on my own collection, that looks to be a good Gretzky. He has two different versions of his auto, one for paid signings that is very neat. Yours is his "street 'graph", I have a couple of cards with a similar type auto.
I have several in-person Brett Hull autos, on cards, Mcfarlane bases and a puck and mine are quite different from yours. I doubt the authenticity of yours, unless Brett has changed his signature over the years. I can post pics of a couple of my Hulls if you would like.
Both Makarov and Savard have unique auto's and it would be easy to spot a forgery.
Do you know what card you have signed by Savard ? I only ask because I still need one of him for an auto set I am working on.
If you have any questions, pm me, I will be glad to help.

The Savard auto was also done on a 1991-92 Pro Set card, his all star base. That one is not in as good condition as these two are lol.
I'd love to see your Hull autos just to have something to compare it to. These autos were done back in 1991 or 92 so not sure if Hull has changed his sig since then. I appreciate someone else's eyes in this matter because I don't think I'd want to send these out only to have them come back as fakes, but would rather know then not know, you know? lol.

I was wondering about the Savard because I need him for a card in my UD set. I will post up a couple of Hull pics tonight so you can have a look.
