Card Collecting Dilemma, Please Help Me Out

I need some collecting advice, because I can't make up my mind. My problem is I like 3 different rb's that entered the league in 2004. They are as follows:

    Steven Jackson

    Tatum Bell

    Greg Jones

Please also keep in mind that I don't have alot of money to spend right now. But I would also like to follow somebody that I won't lose everything on, in the long run. Also, somebody that if I do put money into, is worth it. Please give me all and any of your view points + advice. Thanks for your time.

I like Steven Jackson. The last game I watched, the announcers were comparing him to LT, Shaun Alexander, etc.

Steven Jackson is without a doubt the best player there. But money wise he may be the most expensive.

I would say Tatum Bell wouldn't be too bad, the guy has pretty good talent and more than likely he is going to start whenever he gets back from his injury.

Greg Jones is also very good under the radar talent, Fred Taylor is getting up there in years so Jones may get the job in another 3-5 years (I know its a lot) but its not too long to wait. I like Iowa State and half of the players who get drafted dont even start, as a matter of fact every player I collect basically hasnt started in the #1 slot of their position more then 10 times in their career but Im patient.

With all of that being said I think Greg Jones would be the best way to go, but he may not be the Pro-Bowl type material you are looking for. Its just my opinion that one day I think he will be.

I would collect Steven Jackson because yes, he has been compared to LT and alexander. Steven Jackson will be the starting rb and a great running back for the Rams, he learned a lot from Marshall Faulk. The beginning of this season, he was incredible, but then the offense went to the passing game, and now Marc Bulger is hurt. He's still young and will be incredible as the years come. Steven Jackson will run the ball a lot and will also be thrown to.

The Broncos have a lot of star running backs right now, including Dayne and Andersen. Tatum bell will be a 10-15 carries per game kind of back. He's inconsistent, but will have big runs occasionally.

Greg Jones is only the temporary starter, Fred Taylor is the running back of the Jags.

Steven Jackson will be the most expensive, but he will be worth it.

You can take my words in mind or you can go with whoever you want, but don't blame me when Steven Jackson gets hurt or his career goes down.

of course Steven Jackson will be the best but it will be harder to get his cards and they will be the most expensive out of the 3. But the other two are very good young running backs

Greg Jones. Fred Taylor's career is winding down, and Jones is in line to be the next Jags RB. He's started the past few games and been running really well. If you compare his card prices to Jackson or Bell, you'll definitely see a big difference. Jackson and Bell may already be at their peak values.

I like Jackson, he's going to be the rams go to guy for a long time. Jones has looked good, but its easier for a running back to put up stats when filling in for the starter because NFL teams don't have a whole lot of film on the guys. Everything changes when they focus on you. I don't like Tatum Bell. He is injured too much. Running back is the hardest position in the league to get a long career out of and Bell is already prone to injury. Reminds me of Terrel Davis, Olandis Gary, Mike Anderson, all of which are great running backs in Denver's system, but all 3 were prone to injury. Let me know who you choose, I'm getting ready to open a 2004 topps hobby box. All three are inexpensive, and I'll let them go cheap. They are really nice looking cards at a nice price. I don't know if Greg Jones is in there or not, but I know the other two are.

Well, thank you to everyone that voiced their opinions. I am still going to think about it some more, before I jump into it. You all have valid points that I had not considered yet. It seems to me that S. Jackson and Greg Jones have the majority of plus's. Hope you all have a great Christmas and very happy holidays. Thanks again. If I have any other questions/dilema's, I know where to go now.
