Got a call from Topps about my ALDO GLOVE
I'm happy to say that the saga of the Jose Aldo glove is finally done.
No, it was never fight used but at least the people at Topps made it right. I'm getting a box of 2012 KO and three boxes of titleshot....so I'll basically get back what I paid for it.

watch you get killed with customs fees or something then get stuck with nothing but miller brother hits, don't wanna jinx you but topps seems to love putting the screws to you. ha
see if my theory holds up that boxes you get directly from topps seem to be loaded, hope for your sake they are, good luck!

I'm pretty sure there wasn't a leben in the 2010 ko. If you're referring to 2012 KO, you're comparing apples to oranges. The 2010 KO had 5 gloves (Sonnen, JDS, Aldo...can't remember the other 2) and they inserted them 1:10,000 packs.
The 2012 KO had 20 gloves (maybe more) and they placed them at a rate of 1:500.
To answer your question, I paid over $400 for my glove in an auction starting at a penny but I think I saw the 2012 Aldo glove go for $200.
To go back to my original point, I feel like I recovered my $$$ considering KO boxes sell for $180 plus taxes and Titleshot boxes go for $60 plus taxes so retail value is $415 in Canada.Last edited by hudda123; 05-16-2012 at 08:19 PM.

so what was the deal? did the redemption card state it was a fight worn glove and then they pulled the bait and switch on you?

The card said, "FIGHT GLOVE"....shame on me for assuming it was fight used. I guess you know what they say happens when you make assumptions.
