New Member from San Diego

I recently got back into baseball cards when my 8 year old daughter showed interest into going with me to the Padres games. We just moved to San Diego a little while ago and I recently picked up a 2012 Topps Padres Team set. We take them to the games. She has 3 signed already this year.

I hadn't purchased any cards since 1991 prior to that team set. I too was caught up in cards in the 80's. I have many cards from 1982-1991. Topps, Fleer, Donruss, Bowman.

That hiatus was only 7 years, from the time I started collecting in 1970 at 8 years old, just like my daughter, until 1975. I have a fair amount of cards from 1968-1975. That 1970 set is probably my favorite, probably just because that's when I started collecting. I'm still trying to piece it together 42 years later.

Anyway, hoping to find some people I can possibly trade with. Have many duplicates from the years listed above.

.....Thanks for the friendly welcome from everyone and let me know if there are any Padre fans out there......daughter seems to have a knack for getting some autographs at the ballpark. Chase Headley especially likes signing......another fan gave her the ceremonial first pitch thrown by Trey Anastasio from Phish a couple weeks ago!
