Who have you gotten big leagued by this year in the minors?

Went to the Dayton Dragons game Thursday night. Tried graphing before the game. The Lake County Captains arrived on team bus. There was only 3 of us and the whole team hurried off the bus. I called out Francisci Lindors name and he didn't acknowledge us nor did the rest of the team. Would like to know who all you people have been big leagued by.

Matt LaPorta and Ezequiel Carrera so far this year...it's funny because they were both in the MLB and were god-awful. Back in Columbus where they are AAA studs and classic 4A players, they're too good for signing this year.

This is exactly why i dont waste my time on baseball anymore, out of the 3 players listed in the two post above, ive heard of only one and thats laporta. The egos in minor league baseball amaze me.

I've been to a bunch of Trenton Thunder games this season and still have quite a few to go. I only ever do Trenton. I do it during pregame warm up and as they exit the stadium..

Some games I could get the entire roster, some days I can't even get the ball boy to sign.

Now this season Trenton has been stuck at .500 and I notice they tend to be poor pre-game signers when they come off a loss, I'm sure a lot of that has to do to each player not wanting to be seen signing by the coaches instead of warming up.

After a win, especially a good one, Most of the players are awesome on the way out.

One example is Trenton's DH Cody Johnson, he never EVER signs before the game, the dude won't even acknowledge you if you say goodluck to him. The first time I tried him after a game he did the cell phone gimmick and pretended he didn't hear me, the next game I tried he seemed really annoyed I asked but signed two on my page of 8. The third time I swore to myself I wasn't even gonna waste my time, but he hit a clutch homerun that game. I saw him come out I said "Great shot today Cody, you mind signing?" The guy signed every card I had and would of probably signed my underwear if I asked.

Moral of the story, you never know whats going on in their heads, can't judge off of one try.

Agree 100%. There are guys like LaPorta who have good and bad days. Plus he does TTM really well so just try that if nothing else. But I've heard bad about LaPorta, Evan Longoria, and Bryce Harper throughout the years, yet all those guys have signed for me and proved to be stand up people when I've gone to games, signing for like everybody.

Remember that people have good days and bad. Nobody is required to sign jack for you, that's why it's always nice when they do.

Russ Canzler might be the biggest "Big League" signer in the Minors. Has not touched a pen, to my knowledge, at any of the games I've been at.

He was the 2011 IL MVP, had a cup of coffee with the Rays last year...not a big name, but a tough signature. Most of the time, though, it's great and easy to get players to sign.

I do take back what I said about Carrera, as he's been pounding them out for me recently.
