i think i've been took
This afternoon I bought a full box of 2000 bowman and another half full box. However the full box was not sealed. I paid 25 bucks for the full box listed as "Holiday Sale". I opened both boxes and did not get a Tom Brady or Shaun Alexander. I found this odd since I got all of the other rookies. Does this sound like somebody may have new the pack order and searched the box. I'm curious to know. If so I'll take my business elsewhere next time.

I wouldn't buy a case from anyone unless they were a reputable person. And even then I would insist the case was "Factory Sealed". Most people don't understand the difference between "Sealed" and "Factory Sealed" boxes. Sealed means that any Tom, Dick or Harry can strap a piece of tape across it and "seal" the box. Factory sealed is something that comes directly from Upper Deck or Donruss, or whomever the cards originated from. There are a lot of sellers out there that buy a few cases and find the hot boxes and then reseal the case and sell it, knowing that all the good stuff is gone. Sounds like what happened in your case.

Thanks. How about Dave and Adams Card World. I was considering buying some boxes from them?

DACardworld is one of the best sites out there. I've gotten a Ruth GU, a Marino/Elway dual Gu, a Roethlisberger Chrome RC, and a bunch of other $40+ cards. I've never been disappointed with a box I've gotten from them. Plus, their shipping is real fast, and free if you buy over $100.
Plus, use this for $10 off. 288-7DHS - it's a gift code from Beckett, expires 2/15/06.

I can't seem to order close to $100, I always order way more than that, so I utilize his free shipping.
