    Bimington Mets @ NB Rockcats

    B-Mets @ NB Rockcats

Headed to NB as I decided to do the B-Mets this day of the series because it was advertised that prior to the game there would be a meet and greet with the B-Mets on the field for autographs. Well turns out you needed to spend at least $50 in future tickets or ticket vouchers in order to be put on the “list” to get into the meet and greet event which ended up being Darin Gorski and Zach Wheeler, complete screw up. In addition it was raining on and off and the game got delayed an hour but despite the chaos I was able to get pretty much everything I had signed before the first pitch, all in all successful outing.

    NB Rockcats
    Jeff Smith 2/2

David Bromberg 6/6…was talking to a scout while signing for me and was voicing his displeasure with the Twins organization for how they’ve handled his development last 2 seasons, told me he couldn’t wait to get a chance somewhere else.

    Brett Jacobson 4/4
    Bobby Lannigan 6/6
    Caleb Theilbar 1/1
Brad Thompson 12/12..really nice guy stood and talked to us about his rehab in Florida and time with the Cardinals

    Danny Lehmann 4/4
    James Beresford 5/5
    Estarlin De Los Santos 2/2
Debison Romero 4/4…weirdly tough so far this year
Joe Benson 0/fer..denied coming in, does he realize he couldn’t hit near Mendoza line with Rochester?
    Evan Bigley 4/4
    Marc Dolenc 4/4
    Aaron Hicks 3/3

    B-Mets

    Glenn Abbott 2/2
    Darin Gorski 3/3
    Bradley Holt 3/7, 2/2 (help), 2/2 (help)
    Jenry Mejia 8/8
    Kevin Mulvey 2/2

Armando Rodriguez 2/2..called him off the bus and he looked and yelled a stern “NO” at me then laughed and came over saying “Just kidding” in his broken English.

    Zach Wheeler 4/9 (no dupes), 7/7 (charting), 2/2 (help, thanks Doug)…10 carsds, 2 8x10s, 1 SS ball w/09 1st Rd. pick insc.

    Eric Campbell 2/2
    Reese Havens 1/1
J-Rod 2/2…last 2x I’ve seen him it has been a complete 180 of when he was with the Tribe organization
    Matt Den Dekker 3/3

    Total:102

Would the Wheeler and Den Dekker Heritage minors be for trade or could you 50/50 them if you are going to see them again anytime soon.

Nice haul. I wish I could have gotten up there for the B-Mets.
I was up in New Britain a couple of weekends ago and Benson said no to me also. He had gone 0-5 that day and I think it was the 2 game back in AA since his demotion.

Way to rack my favorite team...Armando tries to be funny like that... I guess he wants to fit in. During ST, I handed him 3 cards and he pretended to drop them and started cracking up ???

Poor Kevin Mulvey. It's really come full circle for him. Got traded from the Binghamton Mets to Minnesota for Johan in 2008, now it's 2012 and he's back where he started.
