Quebec City Capitales @ Worcester Tornadoes aka Jose Canseco

So Worcester was supposed to play a doubleheader today with game 1 at 11am so got to the park for pregame in hopes of catching Jose come in. There was only 2 of us graphing so we liked our chances unfortunately it was raining all morning and day. Canseco pulled in and denied us when he arrived saying “Not signing, go back” not sure if he said go back home or go back there (referring to behind the gate). Anyways as I expected the game would get called/delayed due to rain and they pushed the start time back to 5pm as soon as that decision was made players started leaving for Worcester so I expected Jose would be out soon and sure enough he came out.

Me: Mr. Canseco can you sign?
(no response)
Me: Mr. Canseco can you please sign?
Jose: Yea I heard you
(got into car pulled up to us and puts window down)
Jose: Okay come on quickly
(he starts talking to me as he signs)
Jose: You know it’s raining right?
Me: Yea I feel it
Jose: Why you out here then
Me: For you
Jose: Well game isn’t till 5 now
Me: Yea I know
Jose: Good so you coming?
Me: Depends on the weather, can you sign a rookie card too?
Jose: Yea real quick come on aren’t you guys pros?

Hot **** attitude but expected from him so I rolled with it made the morning worth it to knock out the SI.

Also bus for Quebec never showed up so couldn’t get my Pete Loforests done but I think I’ll cope.

Glad to hear Canseco is signing. I'm going up to the Rockland Boulders game on Friday night. Hopefully, he will sign.
