    How did I do?

    Just sold this:

    http://www.ebay.com/itm/230791940796...#ht_680wt_1270

To be honest, I thought this card had a shot at $100... I think I scared off bidders with the add $10 to shipping if it hits over. But was thinking least 70-80 for this card.

Regardless, I pulled this in one pack, so either way I still win.

    Your thoughts?

I think you got the right price in return. If you did a BIN at $90-$100, the right buyer probably would have came around, but that could've been weeks or months.

+1... the fact they aren't in the playoffs doesn't help either. When the team is playing, their cards go down a slight bit in price... still for one pack.... you made out like a bandit.

true. I guess I could have enjoyed the card over the summer but no personal ties to either player and listed it while SPX was still somewhat new.

For a patch card, I think you did quite well. I think $100 would be very ambitious for that card given the state of the hobby and the mass number of patch cards available.

As a Toews collector, I'd say you did very well. There were more than 25 memorabilia cards last year with those two, and I'd expect the same this season, so it's not like there's any shortage. It's tough to shell out big dollars for a patch card knowing that another of the same card, or a similar one from a different product, is always readily available. I know I personally wouldn't have gone above $45 for that card, so I think getting almost $60 is quite good.

I could see bigger dollars for a similar card from The Cup or high-end Panini, but not from a mid-end product like SPX unless it was numbered 1/1.
