Which will happen first?
It's been a long time since both of these happened: Cubs World Series title (last title 1908) or British man winning Wimbledon (last title, Fred Perry 1936)?
Which do you think will happen first?

Andy Murray's still the best hope but is always in pretty tough, in no small part due to the pressure on him to finally break the streak.
The Cubs? Well according to Back To The Future II they have 3 years to get it together.

It shouldn't be that hard for the Cubs. The Red Sox and White Sox have both won recently and they seem to be the only "cursed" team left. If they signed enough good free agents they could be a World Series contender within 5 years. It isn't as easy for a country just to come up with athletes though.

I like the Back to the Future reference. I'm hoping the Cubs win one soon. I don't think a British player will win Wimbledon soon unfortunately. With Rafa, Roger and Novak at the top, it'll be tough for Murray because he'd probably have to beat two of those three to win the title. I know Liam Broady is a highly-touted British junior player but for right now, it looks like Murray is the only real shot.

Being a faithful cubs fan since I was in my mothers womb, being told stories of the cubs my both my grandfathers while on the bowling alley, I can only hope it will be sooner than later, I would love nothing more then for my grandfather who grew up in the days of Santo and Banks would be able to see them win one, I honestly think besides his grandkids and wife, that would be the happiest moment of his life.
