Need some help with this card

I recently purchased a lot of cards off of eBay and as I was pricing everything out I came across this:

Apparently there are two versions of this card: one has a full auto, the other only has his initials. The version with the full auto books for $150.00.
I don't know how to price this card. I mean, I know BV is pretty much irrelevant, but I can't ignore the fact that it books for $150.00. What do you guys think? Are there any Viktor Kozlov collectors out there that would even give me $20.00 for it?

The question on older BVs like that is why? Was it high because he was popular or because it was unnumbered but rare?

If it's due to rarity, BV is horribly low on some of the older stuff. There may be a collector that has been looking for one for several years and will give an arm, his first born & double book for it.

If it's high due to former popularity... BV isn't worth anything. But you can usually find 15 listed or recently listed on eBay if this is the case.

Have you checked eBay for any listings or recent sales? I also check the Inventory manager here and on other sites to see if other users 'have' one or are looking for one. Reasonable gauge of potential quantity available.

    Just some ideas...

From my recolection..... full sig cards from him are VERY rare, compared to the initials. I think you've got a very tough to find card there.

Now.... how much is it worth? Not sure how many people might still be trying for that set - but set builders would be the ones that would pay big bucks for it.

It it were me - look to see if there are others on eBay either in active listings or compelted listings. If there are lots.... then you have your answer. If there are very few (which I suspect will be the case) I'd list it for about 33% over BV and stick a BIN / BO on it, and see what happens. Will cost you 50 cents, but you'll get a good idea of what people think of its worth.

Thanks for the advice guys. I found another one on eBay that is listed for $88.00. I didn't see any others in the SCF inventory.

Well I posted this for $80.00 BIN/OBO and it has had four views and now one person is watching it. Never would have guessed this would be worth more than 2 bucks, LOL.

SPs from sets that are popular amoung set collectors can do funny things :)

There's a Peter White BAP auto from 2001-02 that was very short printed, and you never see them for sale, becuase they've all made their way into sets. I'd pay $50 for one right now, if there was one for sale. He wasn't near the player Kozlov was, lol.
