The Panini America Quality Control Gallery: 2011-12 Titanium Hockey (51 Sweet Images)
After seven long seasons away, the venerable Titanium brand will return to the ice with Panini America's early-June release of 2011-12 Titanium Hockey, a re-imagined tribute to the trendsetting original that will deliver one autograph or memorabilia card in every pack and trademark Rookie Cards numbered to the featured player's jersey number.
Earlier today, Panini America NHL gurus Chris Barr, Joe Reyes and Tim Trout tag-teamed the quality-control bust of one case of the product to make sure everything was falling as it should. But before they could rush the cards back to the production line, I snapped as many pics as I could for the following first-look gallery.

Toploaders 60 point $4, 100 point $7, 140 point $4, 190 point $3, 240 point $3
Soft Sleeves Standard $1 and Thick $1.50
TOP-LOADER 3X4,100 CT PENNY SLEEVES INCLUDED $11

Those patch/auto cards with a picture of the jersey and not the player...pretty lame idea, panini.

I am a big fan of some of the stuff that Panini has been doing....but I have to say, this is probably the most uninspired and most poorly designed set of cards that I have seen in a few years.

I thought there were some former Gods of UD that were supposed to be recreating something fantastic at Panini....one thing for sure you can look forward to in the next couple of years is that Panini will be the bargain bin discount product of the month at every LCS in the country. That case break alone should keep a pile of people away from this product.

Mehh... not really that impressed. The desgin looks like they simply copied the 2003-04 Pacific Titanium cards.
The rookie cards look kind of like the Ceritied desgin which look kind of like the Limited design...
Sticker autos...
Maybe the cards with the picture of the jersey are designed to help people who say, "Where is this patch from?" Of course, that idea would go down the toilet if they use swatches from a different jersey. I mean, you can't picture Thornton's Sharks jersey, they include swatches from a Bruins jersey.Hidden Content

Weakest Panini product I've seen in a while, and I usually really like Panini's stuff. But hey, that's good for broke people like me I guess...a patch is a patch for those who can't afford to buy high end like Cup/Dominion/Superlative.
It just looks like a mash up of Elite + Contenders when I looked at it. :/

Liking the design. Loved Titanium, and have a feeling I will again!

I like the idea of the home, road, third jerseys...but yeah it doesn't look that good without the player on it, especially since the player's number isn't fully visible (half a number of the sleeves don't count).

Was going to crack a case or 2. Now after seeing that mess I won't. I will buy what ever singles I want, at low low prices on ebay and keep my money for something else. Panini needs to step it up a ton if they want to stick around! just my 2 cents
