Why would someone send a 1 of 1 to beckett to only get authentic on it???

Why only get the card authenticated and not graded? Strange you would think beckett would also grade it as well?

No that is only a autograph graded as authentic, with no grades on the corners, sides etc. Often when the card is is poor condition the person will only submit to beckett to grade the autograph only.

As you can even see from the Bigger scan, The lower right corner is White so the Grade would have Lowered the Value of the card if he were to have had it graded.

Plus its a 1/1. You don't have to compete with other cards of a higher grade so why bother? If you want it you have to buy it from that seller!

bgs slabs without jsa logos authenticate the card as a whole, not just the autograph.
to the op, sometimes, when people send in cards for grading they choose to have cards slabbed as authentic when they dont meet your minimum grade requirements.
in general, its a great way to protect your cards!

What about the superfractor 1/1 in a top loader? Wouldn't it look better in a magnetic holder while also protecting a high dollar card.
