i used to buy only victory retail then retail
i suggest singles or hobby, retail isnt the best way to go, but its a good beginner way to collect
cheap and fun to bust
id say victory, oppeechee, and upper deck series one, upper deck series two are good blasters
i never did bust, and didnt like the product, but panini pinnacle has good blasters i think

O-Pee-Chee is probably the greatest value for the price. Big set, and lots of unique inserts and parallels.

Unfortunately Victory has been discontinued now :\, Score is a great bang for your buck, 30$ for a 36 pack box and lots of nice hits to find, SP rcs like Nugent-Hopkins from this year, lots of autos and even rookies autos of players like Nuge.

I would say Score is the best low-end value out there by far, and it's also a lot of fun to break.

About that price yeah, I think I usually see them closer to $35. Either way, Score is my favorite inexpensive product. If you want to even go a little bit higher you could look at Series 1 and 2. They're about $5 a pack, but they're my all around favorite sets and they're at a decent price.

I'm gonna give my 2 cents here:
Score is a great low-end box, however you'll never really break even, and it can get boring without any "real" hits (gu, or autos.)
I would suggest saving up for a higher quality box. Perhaps pinnacle at $52. For the extra price you are paying, it really pays off.
