New Member from Alabama, with a question also!
Hey guys,
I just found this site on Google today. A lot of interesting stuff here. I haven't collected basketball cards in quite a few years, well I have always been collecting, just not actively trading/purchasing in a few years.
Can't wait to get in the mix and learn my way around this place!
So now that I am more interested in the condition of some of my cards than I was before I want to make sure I keep them as safe/protected/pristine as possible.
So I bought some cheap-o top loaders, and tossed my 'best' cards in there, then read something about sleeving them first or it could damage the cards...
Is this true? I live in a small town so I had to e-bay me some sleeves, but I want to keep my cards in good condition, is there anything else I need to know? Dont want to risk the condition of these cards...
Anyways thanks for any help you can give and I look forward to meeting all of you in the future!

Welcome to SCF! Glad to have you around.
Sleeves- I usually insert the card in a penny sleeve and then into the appropriate top loader. That way it protects the card.
