Habs Sign Nathan Beaulieu to Entry Level Contract!

I take it he was playing college hockey and undrafted for them to sign him? Just curious, haven't heard of him.

No, he's from the QMJHL Saint John Sea Dogs, who won the Memorial Cup in 2011. Drafted 1st round, 17th overall in 2011. He looks to be a great blueliner in the future.

Thanks for the link...yeah I would say a few years in the minors just so he has time to put on some weight! hopefully there will be too much pressure in Montreal for him to blossom and they trade him to the Bruins! j/k...;)

The Bruins already have Dougie Hamilton from the Kessel draft pick trade. Also, I don't recall any trades with the Bruins in the past decade of note.

I know, was just having fun...been a Bruins fan all my life, would be like the Flames and Oilers doing a trade...hopefully the Habs get back on form and we can see some more great playoff battles!
