Draft Lottery. Next years top rookies?
With the strike of the 11-12 season causing most of the top rookie talent to hold off on the draft until this year and with the draft lottery happening tonight, I thought we could talk up the top new rookies for next season.
Obviously Davis is going to go #1. It will be interesting to see who gets him.
Who are your other top picks? Who will round out the top 5? Beal? Kidd? Robinson? Barnes?
One thing's for sure, with the number of talented rookies entering the draft this year, I'm gonna be investing heavy in cards next season! This year I only bought 2 boxes. I'll probably being buying a few boxes and just leave them sealed.

Fingers cross that the Cat's can land the big-one Davis.

Drummond will be up there around the top 5. Damian Lillard is a sleeper who could shoot into the top 7, I also really really like Jeremy lamb

...and this is why I don't care much about the NBA anymore. It's so obvious that the NBA fixes the lottery.
The Hornets lose Chris Paul, so they get Anthony Davis.
Ridiculous

How did I know that someone would say it is rigged when a team has two lottery picks and one moves up 3 spots.... That's rigged? In would say that if NBA wanted to rig it the Bobcats or nets would have got it.....

I think you can make a strong case, considering:
A.) Hornets just lost CP3
B.) Tom Benson finally caved and bought the Hornets from the league
"Hey Benson....buy the team, we'll give you the #1 pick. Deal?"

You don't find it odd at all, that the Cavs lose Lebron, then manage to get Irving in the lottery? Then, the Hornets lose CP3 and will get Davis? How about Chicago getting the home town guy in Derrick Rose?

Okay those things have happened but what about all the other years? Like I said if jt was rigged I think nets or bobcats would have got it. Why wouldn't the commissioner what his belled Jordan to have his team start rebuilding? Why wouldn't he want a huge city are like Brooklyn to get the Number one pick after the billionaire owner bought the team? I just have a feeling people would say it is rigged if 4 or 5 different teams got the pick.
