Panini America Peeks 2012-13 NBA Hoops & Its Massive Double Rookie Card Crop
As the 2011-12 NBA season enters its final, championship-clinching weeks, last night's NBA Draft Lottery selection process unofficially signaled the international basketball focus ever so slightly shifting toward the 2012-13 NBA season.
And nothing can usher in the start of next season quite like the new-card smell of the year's first NBA trading card release: 2012-13 NBA Hoops.

Dont get it why Panini wants to start of with Hoops for the new season. Prestige has always been a great summer hit with so many nice rc auto hits, plus prestige always had a ton of regular rookie cards, which meant you would at least get something nice even if you dont hit that major auto.
Prestige with the double rookie class would have been a monster to start the new season.
They are even doing exactly the same 89-90 buybacks!! Was a major dissapointment to me this year with only 5 buybacks. Talk about diversity! From these first looks id say another product to make quick bucks and lacking creativity.
Hope they will show more soon about what they intend to do with the rookies in this product, because i hope they will prove me wrong.
But ah well, i guess we will probably have to settle for another 10,000 hoops autos of Jerome Jordan, Erden, Diop, Alabi and whatever more no name scrubs you can think of.Last edited by BigAl_83; 06-01-2012 at 06:03 AM.
