Draft Prospects - Your Team

Do you buy cards in advance of the draft expecting your team to draft the player ?
For example are Habs fans buying Grigorenko now or do you wait ?

For me no matter who the Islanders draft, Murray or Dumba let's say, I wait until after the draft as I realize Islander players actually drop in value in the open market. I can't imagine the pricing for Tavares if he was a Maple Leaf or a Hab.

I was thinking about jumping on Grigorenko stuff but because I'm really unsure how the draft is going to unfold I'm holding off on picking up any new goodies until the selection is made. I still wonder if the Oilers will pick Yakupov or if they'll trade down. If they do, what does Columbus do with their pick? If the Habs select Roy as their head coach, does that increase the possibility of them picking Grigorenko? Still lots of variables with this draft, especially for my team.

Just saying, grabbing Matt Dumba stuff now would be a good choice. The kid can play and he can play phenomenally.

Nope. In fact, I've given up on buying cards of my teams's top prospects until their second year in the league.

Did that with Hall, Eberle, and MPS last year..... have yet to buy anything of RNH this year, but will probably start looking now that summer is here. This time next year I plan to be searching for Nail :)

Bahahaaaaa the Canucks draft poop!! And the one year I buy in and spend 30 bucks on a Cody Hodgson Artifacts Emerald /75 they trade him away..... I bought a Eddie Lack Elite auto rc for 6 dollars this year. I'm done........
