    Joe Dimaggio memorabilia

    Hey fellas,

Grandfather recently passed away and I inherited this Joe Dimaggio Summer of '41 piece. It's mounted on marble and the autograph photo in the center is 8x10. I know nothing about the cards, but I wouldn't expect them to be worth much if anything. Makes for a nice display piece for a Dimaggio/Yankee collector. I'd like to sell it eventually, but not sure what kind of price tag to put on it. Thought some of you might show interest? PMs work best. Let me know! Thanks!

    See lindat32's Items on eBay

Who is it authenticated by? If its a nobody certificate then I would take the picture out of it and send it away to get a reputable dealer to authenticate it.

THat's a nice piece. Since you don't know much about the hobby. Don't take any first offers until you do more research. I have actually heard of that company because I used to live down there and been to there. Here is their website.

It is a really nice piece and would be great for a Yankees fan. There were 2 8 X 10's signed go for $56 & $150.

Here is a link to complete auctions.

Def do some research and make sure you get a bunch of quotes. DOn't take any of them until you think you have a good price. Because people will low ball you. ANd def don't take it to a Local card store because you will get ripped off. Not saying all are bad. But most are when buying pieces like this. THey will low ball you so they can make all the profit.

No worries. It is a really nice piece. And will be awesome for a Yankees fan. I should have read your statement again. Dang speed reading. You are not new to the hobby just didn't know those cards. Sorry for that.

Gotcha. Thanks for the help, Giants!
