Couple Recent Indians Additions!
Haven't been picking up a whole lot of new things lately, but I did manage a few nice Tribe pick ups this past week...hopefully they'll get it back together in the next couple days to avoid a repeat of last season. Anyway, here's my three new pick ups that cost me a grand total of $35; pretty sweet deal!
2010 Bowman Chrome Refractor Auto Jason Kipnis /500
2010 Bowman Chrome Blue Refractor Auto Michael Brantley /250
2008 UD Documentary Seasonal Signatures Luke Carlin
Kipnis is by far my favorite player and has been since he was in the Minors, so that was a no brainer, especially for a great deal. I've been wanting a nice Brantley, too. Had to get the Carlin when I found it on eBay and he got recalled to Cleveland for a few days after watching him in Columbus, too! Three pretty sweet PC additions for an even cooler price...I'm happy.

Just have the base and refractor right now...everything else is getting too expensive! Blues are up over $60, and I don't even want to think about golds, oranges, and reds. Just picking up what I can for now...

With the way Kipnis is playing I wouldn't expect those prices to come down any time soon. He has a legitimate chance of making the all-star team if he keeps it up. His defense can be shaky at times, but overall he is progressing nicely. Not sure if you heard Carlos Baerga's call after Kipnis hit a grand slam last week. The video from facebook isn't working, but here is the quote:

2nd in batting average on the Tribe, then leads them in home runs, runs scored, RBI's, steals, etc. I'll take that for his first full MLB season so far! He grand slam was epic.
