What A Great Weekend! Bears 9-3, Meeting Alex Brown, Etc.
Well, as you may or may not know, I was at the Bears/Packers game yesterday. My girlfriend got tickets for me for Christmas, so I booked a hotel for Saturday and Sunday night, and off we went.
Just a perfect weekend, I'll start from the top.
I planned on eating at Harry Caray's, as I love that place(pricy, but the best damn steak I've ever eaten). I call down to the concierge desk and tell them I would like to make reservations, they say Harry's doesn't take them, but to come down there and they'll give me a VIP card which cuts the wait time in half.
Well, we take a taxi there, barely some snow flurries. I'm praying that it will be snowing hard by the time we leave.
Anyway, we get there, the wait time is 2 hrs, I gave them my VIP card and we were seated in 40 minutes!! We eat a nice meal, leave, and when we get outside the snow is coming down hard.
So we walk to the big Christmas tree, I propose, she says yes, yada yada.
We get back to the hotel, I see some guy standing with his back turned toward me. I tell Hannah, hey, I recognize those big hoop earrings, I bet that's Alex Brown! So I walk over by him to see if it is him, and yup, it sure is. Shake his hand, tell him to tear up Favre, and go about my bidness.
Come to find out the whole team was staying where we were at. He was the only one we saw though.
Sunday was an awesome day, cold, snowing for a couple hrs before kickoff, and about 25 minutes before the coin toss, the snow subsides, sun comes out, perfect football weather.
So, Orton has a terrible game...oh well...the Leading receiver is BERNARD BERRIAN! Good deal for me to see my dude get the ball.
Lifesaver of the game is the other homeboy I collect...CHARLES TILLMAN! Great to see my boys go out there and get it done!!!
Well, we're 9-3 with a comfortable 2 game cushion over the Vikes. Can't wait for the playoffs!! Already have my tickets ordered!!!
HERE'S TO THE BEARS BEING 9-3 AND DOING IT WITH HARDLY ANY HELP FROM THE OFFENSE!!! WAY TO GO BEARS!!!!

And as a great song I once heard rings throughout my home, THE BEARS STILL SUCK! Lol, what can I say?!? This is no way being sore, as my Vikings are moving up. But the thing I love the most, will be, seeing all your sad faces, when the Bears get knocked out of the playoffs 1st or second round. I went to Green Bay last year Minnesota vs GB. And boy, did I love the cheeseheads shreaking and crying when they lost. Now if Minnesota plays Chicago in the Playoffs? Ill be getting tickets and hopin for the same thing.

I am almost hoping we lose to Pittsburg, and Atlanta so Lovie will play Grossman. I'm not a big Kyle Orton believer, I think I could've played better.. 0/10 3rd down conversion?!?! 4-5 QB raiting?!? Double digits passing yards?!?! WE NEED HELP!
That's awesome you got a chance to meet Alex Brown! The whole D-line is phenomonal lately.. our D-line accounted for 8 sacks alone in the Carolina game..I bet they're missing Boselli (sp?).
Oh and yeah, I don't know if you could see it from your seat.. but Brown and company busted Favre's knuckles pretty good.. couldn't happen to a nicer guy.
Congrats on the proposal!.. but more improtantly on meeting A. Brown! Wonder where Urlacher was? Probably tapping a celeb.. what a pimp.

Now, I give the bears credit. I think they would have lost, should Orton have stayed in, but even as a Vikings fan, I really like Grossman. Once I saw him come in, I knew it was over.
