Is SP Authentic Released Today?

I am just wondering if anyone knows if SP Authentic is released today or if it has been pushed back again? Anyone with info would be appreciated.

SP Authentic releases on June 30th.

SP Authentic is "TBD", was pushed back into July and now UD has no idea when it will be ready.

I'm working at my lcs now and we were just told June 29 and also ultimate will be delayed too.

I think Upper Deck is doing everything in there power to release SP Authentic with as few redemptions as possible. Last year SP Authentic was released around mid May, so we aren't doing that bad yet for delays on this, if it releases around the start of July then it's only about a 6 week delay.

They'll tell you it's to cut down on redemptions, what they won't tell you is they most likely haven't been keeping up with their autograph payments to the players and it's catching up to them.

The NFLPA is suing UD for upwards of $1.5 million in unpaid autograph fees and the MLB is suing for $260k worth of settlement money UD has owed them since a 2010 court case.

Tony Romo alone is owed over $180k for autographs.

If its happening to other leagues it stands to reason that the NHL players are being shorted as well. UD is in a huge financial mess and it's surprising they can even keep their lights on.
