I love the irony of this post.

Anyway, if you don't like him being openly Christian and "ramming it down your throat", you don't have to ask for his signature.

pretty sure the irony is unintended and unnoticed, which makes it all the funnier.

Anyways, all I can say is

    force of habit.

what's funny is you're probably the only person on this board that would nitpick over a Harper signature.

I've never had a beef with you, I don't know where all these snarky comments in all my threads are coming from you.

I'm not "nitpicking" a harper graph, I didn't get an inscription, so I'm happy. I was asking why people wanted that particular inscription so badly, not because I hate jesus, or that I hate what he stands for, but just because that seems like a weird thing to "want" to get.

If a player inscribes HOF, or All Star, or with their nicknames, or world series champion, I get why those inscriptions are desirable, I just didn't understand the fascination of this one.

But how about this, since you got snarky. You collect the way you want, and I'll collect the way I want.

And who knows, maybe someday I'll actually have heard of one of the players you get a success from in your thread!

You say "you collect the way you want". Ok, does that apply to everyone? If so, was this thread necessary? Comparing a bible verse on a baseball to having someone's beliefs being shoved down your throat is downright ignorant. It's less than equivalent to someone saying "God bless" Do you fly off the handle over that? Remember, YOU (or anyone else for that matter) would be requesting that HE write on your ball. It's not like he's handing you a miniature bible and telling you to come to church on Sunday while you're shopping.. It's up to him what he writes, if at all.

Snarky comments? The only recent post I've left in one of your threads was a question.. And a fair one since you seem bitter and pissy when a guy blows you off as you chase him down the street to sign your baseball, and he's a "jerk" if he doesn't sign. If I took that wrong then I apologize..

Insulting my TTM successes? Jeez.. Are you 13? They're for me, and I obtain them for reasons of my own, not to impress others. Grow up son.

This is great... is it sad that I literally laughed out loud over the last posts in this thread?
