RANDY and RANDY done in Montreal
So you get tossed under the bus and they protest against you because you can't speak the language and now they fire you.
Pretty gutless and cowardly!

I felt they made Cunneyworth the scapegoat of this whole thing. Hopefully, he'll be employed elsewhere in the NHL at some capacity.
P.S.: On a side note, I found a segment on youtube last week on the worst own-goals (from a TSN segment I think) and Bergevin was amongst this Top Ten. It was when he was with the St. Louis Blues where he gloved the puck into his own net.

Last season when all this was going on about french this and that, another NHL GM said that it wasn't fair to RC and that he'll be taken care off if the Canadiens let him go. I hope that when he moves on he becomes the world's greatest coach.

No surprise at all. Any new coach likes to pick his own staff. I hope that Therrien talks to Price about Pierre Groulx before making any decisions, though. PG has been AWESOME for Carey after Rollie Melanson nearly ruined him.
Habs fan and collector! Current PC's: Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, and Lane Hutson...., and of course...

Yep, I ranked this move as likely as the sun coming up today.
I hope that the rumors of Breezer joining the coaching staff is completely off base.

it is a different scenario than any other sports franchise. I will not pretend to understand it either. So, I'll just say, it did not seem right, so make the change and move on. It was a lost season, and the Habs will be better for it.
