    Ufc 149

If anyone's looking for tickets then let me know... Pulling Shogun off the card to headline UFC on Fox is brutal. Against Vera is a joke. 149 was already a weaker card, now it's done. 50 000 PPV if they're lucky!

Seriously... Akiyama, Alves, Silva and now Shogun with a month and half until the card. I can't wait to see who drops out next. I predict a main event of McGee vs. Ring!

On a serious note, ever since the UFC implemented the health plan, I swear the number of fighters pulling out has tripled. It must be an average of a fighter dropping out every second day for a card. I think that sooner or later people are going to get sick of so many fighters being off cards.

You're bang on...people ranted and raved how great this was for the sport but what they should have said is that its great for the fighters...its handicapping the sport and we shoulda seen it coming.

I was shocked to see vera get shogun. He looked like garbage against elliot marshall and technicallh lost that fight since marshall broke his arm and he didnt tap.

UFC 149 is still a very solid card, and i for one am happy the fighters get health insurance. Now they don't have to risk long term issues for a deposit to the bank. SHogun Vera is kinda meh though, Rua gains nothing by beating him and loses every thing if he drops this fight.

Shogun vs. Vera is a joke. Vera isn't even a top 20 ranked fighter. I still don't think it's a great card. Koch is only fighting for the belt because no one else was available. If someone told me that the winner of the Koch vs Brookins fight would get a title shot I would have thought it was April 1.

Still, nothing beats a live event. Speaking of which, may have to go to TO for JDS vs Cain II...

Aldo is out. Hold F! That means the only fight on the main card that is unchanged is Big Nog vs. Kongo. Cards are being decimated with injuries. This screws up 148 as Faber vs. Barao is off that card. I've never seen Faber though and seen Aldo a few times so this is a bit of a blessing after all...
