ttm question - hand written vs typed

Just wondering if you all hand write your letters or type them up?

I've sent out over 50 hand written letters so far and it does get tiring, but I figure the athletes would want something more personal than times new roman.

    Any thoughts?

I just converted over to typing letters up after around 50 or so hand written ones. I'm getting successes back from the types ones so far. Curious as to what others say as well...

Typed letters, and for people like JJ Watt and nice players they get written ones! I never report in the database. I think I should!

This gets brought up a few times a month it seems.

I promise you it makes no difference to 98% of the people opening your mail.

Just keep your letters short, sincere, and with pleases and thank yous and that's all you need to worry about

I used to hand write them but after a while, it get's to be a pain. I started typing and it doesn't seem to matter. If someone is going to sign, they will sign. I don't think the format of the letter makes a whole lot (if any) difference.

People also do a basic cover letter and then make a hand written short thank you message at the bottom- I am guilty for a cover letter.

    +1..

I hand write all my letters but my letters consist of a full index card. I dont think half the people i send to read them anyways so who knows. i'd say about half those ID card letters get returned anyways. sometimes i send a page letter to more un-sure signers, maybe to sway them but doesnt seem to work.

Always hand written. Of the thousands and thousands of letters I've sent, I bet I've sent fewer than 50 typed letters.

All typed because they would not be able to read my chicken scratch. I must have been a Dr. in a previous life.
