I tend to agree with this.
This is only my opinion but in most of my experiences with those who don't post prices, I find them to be extremely greedy and unreasonable. The last one being a PC card I needed VERY badly. It was a Leveille/Bourque Shirt off my Back Dual Patch Auto /10 (the last non 1/1 Leveille card I need for my PC). The kid wouldn't give me a price. Made me make an offer. I was not happy at all about having to do that but I offered $75 for the card. MORE than fair value, considering ebay prices for similar items. Of course, the kid was insulted and said he wanted $150 and wouldn't budge. Cripes, I probably would of caved in at $100 (still way over market value). He knew I was THE Leveille collector and would probably pay his price Well, I didn't and I won't. A couple months later, he listed it on eBay for $150 or Best Offer. I offered $75 and he declined. However, he accepted an offer from another bidder for $75.
So, by making an offer that he felt was insulting, he refused to sell to me. Yet, a couple months later when he realized he was being too greedy, he sold it for my original offer....but not to me (due to me insulting him)
After that last fiasco, I promised myself I would never again make an offer to anyone who doesn't post prices for there items....no matte how bad I want or need the card. Nothing drives me crazy more than greedy people and I refuse to feed them.
It's best to try and be reasonable. I try to use eBay or similar. Worse case is you say no thanks and move on.

I put prices up on my threads but it doesn't matter cause I get the " it's selling on Ebay for this much"
I buy the wax, I crack the wax, I check Ebay and this is my price, which isn't that far off of Ebay anyways.
I make more people happy at shows than on here and my prices are lower on here lol
