Don't blame Lebron
Should the Celtics win tonight I really don't want to see another Lebron can't win the big game thread.I feel his game 6 45 point 15 rebound 5 assist game is proof enough that he can win a big game, maybe Dwayne Wade the real darling of Heat basketball needs to show up,as I see him getting a free ride in this whole playoff run, afterall what has he really done to help the Heat.

It depends how LeBron performs tonight. Maybe it is his fault if they lose tonight? Ya never know.

I agree Steve , Lebron is goton way to much by the critics and media for not having a ring yet , and dwade is riding his ring thru all of the playoffs so far , Lebron is one of the best right now if not the best , time and time again he has showed brilliance and played to expectation and beyond , and with the game 6 determination in lerbons eyes and face you can see that it wasnt a fluke game or one of those I had the best game of my life , I see him coming out tonight doing the same thing all over again , heat/thunder is what I see , lets hope I am not wrong lol , also chris bosh now in the mix and gonna play more minutes will add the extra edge bigtime

Anyone who calls himself "The King", then comes out on national TV and says he is going to win not 6, not 7, not 8, but 9 rings and doesn't do it, deserves all the criticism he gets.

you must work for the media ,because that is just the excact lame thinking they do lol
talking smack is just that ,everyone does it , you think is babe ruth didnt hit the homerun he called he would not be a HOF or one the greatest , lol NO
not saying it was cool to say he will win that many titles now on the heat that was outlandish for sure , but for everyone to knock down lebron for just not having a ring yet is ludicrous and really cant wait til he does get one and starts punhcing eeveryone with your views in the head with the ring on so a lasting impression is made lol
so ya he deserves the guff he gets for saying that , but thats isnt what the critics or we are talking about , we are talking about how the blame falls on lebron for everything that may go wrong with the heat and wel it isnt one player that wins a ring , never has been and never will ,Jordan didnt win a ring by himself , neither did kobe ,

Put it this way, Wade has played even worse this postseason than Lebron did in last year's postseason, and nobody cares. I don't want to hear that stuff about "oh Wade is the closer, expect him to pick it up in the final minutes." A good player plays the whole game, win or lose. To use that lame excuse that he's the closer, give him a break, is lame.

I will say that Lebron made a poor desision when he said not one, not two, and so on and so forth. If he never would have said that, he wouldn't have nearly the same amount of pressure as he will have to play with for the rest of his time in a Miami heat uniform.

Lebron brought this upon himself, first with the "Decision" and now with this. It would've been easier if he had just kept his mouth shut and played. With that being said, if he plays his butt off tonight and they still lose(which I don't think they will) I for one will not blame him for anything. He has been pretty darn good in the postseason thus far.

I certainly won't. But likewise you shouldn't point the finger should he win. Basketball is a team sport and you need all guys to perform to win playoff games. His statement imo was premature only in that the Heat still had to fill out the roster with guys that were hopping on the ship. These are the guys who are much more important to winning big games.
