Im not going to touch on all this stuff, because its all overblown and people are hyper critical of James just because they need to nit pick. Prime example is game 6 against Boston vs. Game 1 for Durant vs. Miami.
    Lebron has 45-15-5
    Durant has 36-8-4
Lebron shot 6 more shots and the same amount of free throws. Overall an even game in which Lebron outperformed Durant to a big degree.
After game 1 we hear how great Durant is, how he is MVP, possibly better then Duncan, etc. People give him the praise he deserved for having an outstanding game. After Game 6 all we heard was how Lebron missed too many free throws or other type nonsense.

Its impossible for people to fairly criticize or applaud James. No one wants to give him his just due, they want to break him down. For reasons unknown to be honest. They say hes to arrogant, ego, etc. Every superstar player is like that, peole just want to latch onto him because its the in thing to do.

Welcome to sports. Isn't anything new as are the reactions. After Lebron, it will be someone else. If he wins it all, it'll be another excuse. Like clockwork. What I don't understand is why people take it to the point where they vigorously defend him like they personally know him. I know that's asking a lot but no one's beliefs will change by a mere post, stat or retort. I don't agree with a lot of the criticisms but understand even if you have the 99% of the world saying he's the greatest, it's the 1% that's going to drive you up the wall.

It seems that Lebron got more negative attention from that GM 1 loss than he did positive attention from the huge GM 6 performance. It's totally unfair. That 2nd half debacle was not fully his fauit. He had nobody else to help him pick up the pace in the 2nd half. Somebody else has to step up to the plate or this team can just wave the white flag now.

Durant is soft he hugs his mom after games

He made the finals, thats a great accomplishment, and im sure he isnt the first to do that. Maybe he is a mommas boy, but that doesnt make him soft.

it ultimately doesn't matter if a player has a triple double by half time. in basketball, players are judged by how they perform in the 4th. this is not a new phenomenon with james. It has always been around.
James has done everything he can to make himself the center of attention (not saying it is wrong, just saying it is fact) and therefore he gets met with the most criticism when he can't follow through on his talk.

ask a gm whether they want a guy who has a triple double at the half but normally falls away and disappears in the 4th, or a guy who doesn't get you the triple double but scores double digits in the 4th quarter of a close game. most will take the guy who comes up clutch.

i don't say that to knock lebron, just say that the criticism of him isn't new. It is just amplified because of how he has propped himself up.

malone, stockton, barkley, dan marino, ted williams. all are known as all time greats who never won the big one. right now, lebron is viewed as an all time great who hasn't won the big one. there is nothing wrong with that criticism because it is factual.

Lebron would've saved himself a lot of grief if he hadn't done the "not one, not two" thing.

You are rediculous. Obviously, you don't seem to know to much about basketball.
    1) He scores 28 per game and makes about 2 threes. This means 6 pts= 21% of his points.
    2) Has led the league in scoring the past 3 seasons. In the league leaders for 3PM per game: 09/10: 35th 10/11: 17th 11/12: 10th. Don't really see a correlation.
    3) He doesn't stand on the perimeter, over his career he has averaged 7.9 free throws per game.
    4) Role Players don't lead the league in scoring 3 straight years, lead their national team to a gold medal at 21 and win tournament MVP, carry their team to the finals at 23, or be on the ALL-NBA first team three consecutive years.
    5) Look at just about every NBA player and they will tell you their mother is extremely important to them. His mom worked multiple jobs just to support them, and every other NBA player would hug their mom if they sat courtside to every one of their son's games.
Looks like you need to watch a bit more basketball
