Young Chinese hockey players travel to Edmonton for training
Some 60 Chinese youngsters aged eight to10 will train in Edmonton this summer to help China try to win hockey competition in the 2026 Winter Olympics.
“The idea stems from the fact Chinese children should be taking part in more physical activity,” says Kevin Masters, who trained seven-to-nine year olds in Beijing last summer and will coach the visiting Chinese.

Good, its not just a sport for one nationality. Its a sport that can unit people from all over the world. Its great to see other countries love this sport.
Physical activity?? I mean, i personally dont see why that would be the motivating factor. How about people try different things to see if it sticks? Its physical sure, but there's far more facets to the game then drilling someone into the oppositions bench........or maybe not, thats great!
