Anyone ever done this?

My family bought me this for Fathers day. I guess I drive my Mustang a little fast sometimes, haha.

Anyway, all I know is that it's in August sometime, probably down at the Pikes Peak racetrack. All I got was the cover letter. Haven't gotten the info packet yet.

Just curious if anyone has done this, and can give me some pointers, or at least an idea of what to expect.

ive never done the driving but I did a ride along with something similar at Michigan and it was a huge blast-one of the best things ive ever done. Not sure what to tell you to prepare for except that its fun and the inside of the car is so dang hot

Yeah, those things don't have AC and cup holders for ice water. lol

But I can stand losing a few pounds.

I did the Dale Jarrett racing experience at Atlanta Motor Speedway last year . Top speed was 163 after 8 laps . Go as fast as they will let you and get the most of it , It will go by fast .

Yeah, I expect it to go by pretty fast.

The packet encourages you to go as fast as the car will go.

I intend to do exactly that.

Do's or dont's?

I know not to wear boots, or heavy clothes.

Anything not in the packet I should be aware of going in?

I've done the Richard Petty experience where I got to drive eight laps and did the three lap ride along. It was a great day
