Does Panini have a redemption policy?
I'm curious, I've been waiting a year and a half on a couple of Panini redemptions from two of their very first products (2010-11 Certified Daniel Sedin Auto Green x/5 and 2010-11 Score Daniel Sedin Signatures x/25).
I'd be most appreciative if our friend vegaspuck or anyone with some inside connections at Panini could shed some light on how the system works - why is it that there's no problem releasing new product upon new product with new autographs, but redemptions are so slow to be filled?
Since the time I filed my request, excluding 1/1's, Panini has released 10 separate products containing 1,335 serial-numbered cards with Daniel Sedin's autograph (plus some unnumbered stuff like Private Signings), and I have them all (except for a Pen Pals Quad x/5 redemption I'm also waiting on from Dominion).
What I don't understand, over this span of a year and a half, and Panini has collected over a thousand autographs of Daniel Sedin, why is it that they haven't been able to collect the measly 30 stickers that would be required to fill the two year-and-a-half-old redemptions people have been waiting on for so long? Does one department handle getting signatures for new products, and some other department handle filling the backlog of redemptions? In Crown Royale alone there were over 300 Daniel Sedin signed cards, why wouldn't Panini just send an extra 30 blank stickers to him to sign, and just take care off the new product and the entire backlog all at once?
My other question - does Panini have a policy that after a certain point a card simply won't be made? I'm a player collector, so of course my goal is to acquire one of every card of the Sedins. Now if I know that a pending redemption will simply never be filled, then fine, I can work with customer service on a suitable replacement. But I'd hate to give up waiting on a card I need for my PC, only to see the redemptions get filled a month later.

The mystery of all mystery's is Panini's redemption system! Still waiting for 2 rookie auto/jerseys from 10/11 Certified! One has apparently shipped but I haven't got it yet while the other one is still not in. Plus when I talked to a Panini CS rep about the long wait and all the delays I asked for a couple of packs for the frustration and she said she would send something to me. That was a little while ago and I got nothing. Maybe should PM vegaspuck as he actually seems to know what is up.
Also their replacements aren't suitable so yeah giving it up would suck. Don't get why they can't slap a 5 Sedin autos on the cards and ship them out as it just doesn't make any sense???

Great question with some interesting facts, I'm looking forward to the response.
I'm still waiting on my P.K. Subban Rookie Phenom from 10/11 Limited. I've seen these cards live on Ebay for about 3 months now but I still don't have mine.

Some good news - got a prompt response via email to Panini CS and the Dominion Pen Pals Quad Canucks x/5 card I'd been waiting on for a few months is on its way via FedEx. No news on the much older sticker auto redemptions I've been waiting on, but CS rep told me he'd look into, so hope to hear back from them soon, and share whatever I hear.

I had that card in que as well, If you are on twitter look up @PaniniCSM its their customer Service Manager all you need to do is tweet them something like "Can you look into reference #: _______? " They filled a few of my year + older redemptions as I had about 7 Reference numbers I sent them.

Happy to report that Panini CS came through on the most recent redemption I've had outstanding, it's one sweet card!

Still awaiting an answer from them on my other Sedin cards - haven't found anyone who's able to explain how they've released over 1,335 newer Daniel Sedin cards in the past 18 months or so, and still can't get around to filling the redemptions from two of their very first products, but I'll see if I can find someone else in the CS department who can give me an ETA on when these will be filled.

Received another response from Panini today - on the positive side their CS is good about replying fairly quickly. On the downside, I was told simply that my redemptions would not be honoured and they will send replacements instead.
I replied back that this is not acceptable - there must be some reason why they simply cannot honour their redemptions, and I'm hoping they can put me in touch with someone who can actually explain it.
