To those going for the first time, TAKE A FOLDING STOOL!
Trust me ... I took mine when I went and people were offering me all kinds of stuff for it. Well worth it in some of those long, long lines .... Yeah, take a backpack, and my suggestion is some cardboard or manilla folders to keep your autos safe in, if you are chasing flat items. Duffel bag or gym bag if you collect the bulkier items.
Good luck!

This is very true. We wound up sitting on the floor in the lines, most move very slow....
A tip for newcomers, take a look at the fighter autograph lineups before coming. Only at exhibitor booths will they sign your item, the UFC sponsored booths give out 8.5x11 photos in which they ask the fighters to personalize as well. Last time, Cowboy Cerrone and Randy Couture hooked me up and signed the items when security wasn't looking. Other then that, they tell you to put it away.

I'm about an hour away from the city. I live in lake county, McCormick place is a perfect spot for an expo. IMO the midwest has some of the best/most loyal MMA fans. I've posted on dana whites twitter a few times but never heard back (not surprised) but still how can you not bring a ufc expo to chicago??

I never had any problem with getting my own stuff signed in the UFC lines in Toronto or Houston.
As for Chicago, I love it there and would go in a heartbeat! If it ever happens we can arrange a meet up...
