Okafor and Ariza are both decent players and they no longer have to deal with the contract of Rashard Lewis. The wizards aren't really losing anything and they are getting two guys that can contribute right away and the Hornets have the first pick and the eleventh pick I believe and they have to completely re-bulid. I kind of like the trade for both teams.

But getting rid of the Lewis contract, they also got two bad contracts in Okafor and Ariza...I don't get it.

OK, point to you. They basically replaced the contract of Lewis with Ariza and Okafor. I forgot that average NBA players were so over payed LOL. I thought they were only about $5 combined maybe.

Okafor is overpaid but he will help in the post. If he plays 31-34 mins a game he would be good for 10 ppg and 8rpg. He is ovepayed or sure but maybe he can help some players became more professional. Ariza was just overpaid from his run with the lakers.

I just don't understand why they'd make that trade with a rebuilding team...Lewis's contract is up at the end of this next season, freeing up even more cap space.

I don't get why they would want Okafor when they've just got Nene
