2010-2011 Series Two
I'd really like a Tyler Seguin Young Guns RC. Seeing as how Series Two Hobby boxes are around $150, and they yield 6 Young Guns, why am I so hesitant to buy Blasters for $19? They have a whole bunch at my LCS, 12 packs, 5 cards, 2 Young Guns. So for $60 I can pull 6 YG's. Now, I know that there are no patches / jerseys, or auto's, but generally you pull crap jerseys anyway. The way I see it, I could just spend $60 on the card itself instead of $60 for 6 chances at getting one. I dunno, just venting I guess.

Yeah there can be some pretty good value out of the retail blasters. The tins usually go for $5-$10 more and come with 3 YG's, so even better value for your YG buck.
Habs fan and collector! Current PC's: Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, and Lane Hutson...., and of course...

The jerseys aren't always crap, I've pulled the Hejduk from this year in a blaster which was one of the 4 hardest to get and booked at 100

That's quite often the case. For the price of a little less than a box, you can get the card you're really looking for.
Those blasters do have good value. Can get enough to equal the YGs from a hobby box, and pay less. I would mention though that those Series 2 boxes are loaded. The didn't make as much as other years - so the odds of getting things like plates, HGs, patches, etc, are much better than usual.
