I suspect that they'll move Thomas' contract to some cellar dwellar that needs to reach the cap floor. And that bothers me because anything that helps Boston....bothers me. We already have Brian Burke for that.

Good on them for dumping Pouliot in Tampa too. Any return at all for him is just gravy.

I wouldn't be surprised if they looked to make a splash or two. I think they're going to look at what Ottawa and Montreal have done in recent weeks/months to improve, and act accordingly to stay one step ahead.

You may be correct with this statement. In some sick way it appears Brian Burke only tolerates NHL players born outside the USA.

It's looking more and more like he wants an entire USA born team, in similar fashion to Uncle Lou who appeared to have been striving for a team of Shrimp Forwards until Clarkson came along.
