    TTM Autograph coming off....

My Dirk TTM which I received today, comes off when I rub it :( The card is from an SI Kids cards so it is glossy. I am so sad. What can I do to prevent it from coming off more besides not to rub it?

I put a small amount of baby powder on the surface. Sorry about the autograph!

There is nothing I can do now. Maybe I should erase the auto and put baby powder on it and send it again

That happened to me once... got Greg Maddux IP at spring training when I was a kid. It was a glossy card and part of it just rubbed off.

I don't send cards (just 8x10s these days) but there are plenty of folks on these boards who can tell you about 'prepping' the cards before you send them so this doesn't happen.

I outlined the autograph so it will fade less.

You could of also used fixative spray to keep the autograph from rubbing off. They could be found at any art supply stores such as Hobby Lobby, Michaels, etc.
