    He put life into the NJ PowerPlay this season. Upped their PP goals by about 22%.

    I wish him the best, he was a terrific passer, and probably the best passer in NHL history after Orr and Gretzky.

    And yet there are many who question his entry into the Hall. I have to wonder if they ever watched a game.

    Noobs to the game always discount those that they either never watched, or those that came before they were fans themselves. It always happens.

    People that were teenagers when Roy played simply won't give a shred of credence to Glenn Hall, Terry Sawchuk, Vladislav Tretiak, or Bernie Parent who all were technically better goalies and never had the opportunity to either play an 82 game season over a long career.

    It will always be that way. ESPN has presented Roy the best goaltender to Americans because they refused to showcase anyone else.
