Well that didnt go so well!! I opened a case and he BLEW up at me saying all us canadians are impatient!! He said he was going to work with me but not now. I guess im not allowed to protect myself anymore in this world without others getting mad!

If he did that to you after you opened a case, then in my books that's bad business practice. A good seller would offer a full refund regardless the elapsed time.

I've had to do this once before, and the buyer was cool with it. Three weeks later he paid me when the card finally showed up. He since then has bought from me again. No problems that time. The lesson learned is that if you offer up a level of trust you retain a buyer for the future, and would be willing to possibly spend extra based on credibility.

Your seller obviously doesn't see the value retaining possible future loyalty from you. It's not you that has to protect your end portions! It's the seller, and his decorum is not achieving that is it? You do have to protect your interests with what you have paid, and not received, but that's it!
