Bobblehead flaws?
I was wondering if anyone knew how big a flaw a chip in the neck area of a bobblehead would be. Would it render it virtually worthless?
I ask because I own a Harmon Killebrew bobblehead that I got in a Twins spring training giveaway in 2002. I believe it's actually the 2001 season ticket version. The problem is that when I waited in line and got the bobblehead, it was chipped. I figured it wasn't a big deal and worth the hassle to get another so, I kept it. The next year during the annual Twinsfest, I got it signed by Killebrew. Even as the hype of bobbleheads rose and fell, I kept it.
An unsigned pristine one recently sold for $105. My question is; Would it be worth it to sell or considering the chip, is it something I should keep? I know absolutely nothing about bobbleheads so any information would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
