It's day one and the Nascar guys are rolling in. I hit all the driver appearances in town and here are the results:

Kevin Harvick- 2/2. I got (2) 1:24 scale die cast cars signed in silver and they turned out great.

Jeff Burton- 2/2. 1 card and 8x10 signed.

    Brad Kesolowski- 2/2. 2 8x10s signed.

All the guys were very friendly and seemed happy to be in town. Tomorrow will be a 10 hour day at the track and I'm hoping for some good results.

Today turned out to be a shorter day because of the weather. In between the rain I managed to get the following:

    Max Papis- 1/1 card.
    Kyle Petty- 1/1 card.
    Rusty Wallace- 1/1 card.
    Justin Allgaier- 1/1 card.
    Mike Helton- 1/1 8x10.
    Carl Edwards- 1/1 8x10.
    Jeff Gordon- 1/1 8x10.

Not the quantity that I usually get on Friday, but can't argue the quality.

Thanks. Unfortunately the weather was a factor.

I have all different years/brands. I try to use stuff from the 80's and 90's for guys like Petty and Wallace.

I put 0 effort into day 3 at the track but still managed a good one-

Juan Pablo Montoya- 1/1. I spotted him visiting a ROLEX team in the paddock area and he signed my ticket stub. He also won the pole for tomorrow's race.

Today I had a pretty exclusive meet and greet with Dale Earnhardt Jr. as a result of a connection with one of his corporate handlers. Our group of 12 had 15 minutes with Jr. outside his motorcoach, and each were able to get one item signed, and have a picture taken with him. Jr. was very friendly and upbeat, and I asked him questions about Chase strategy and his 1973 Camaro. I also offered him an 8x10 of a pic I took of his pals Arturo Gatti and Micky Ward at the Boxing HOF. He seemed to really like the pic, and thanked me again for it at the end of the session.

Dale Earnhardt Jr.- 1/1. 1/24 Scale die cast signed.

This has been an outstanding week for me both IP and TTM. Probably my best all-time.

BTW Kevin I owe you a top loader as that was what I gave Jr. the picture in.

Made the trip to Rochester last night for the Red Wings vs. SWB Yankees. The Yanks last game in Roch. (excl. playoffs) and Tommy John was there for a signing. They had a large awards presentation that started at 5:40, so that put a large dent into the pre-game totals; not that I had much anyways, but I did get what I went for:

Kosuke Fukudome- 1/1. (2012 Topps Heritage)
Austin Romine- 2/2. (2012 Topps Heritage ((thanks Kevin)), Heritage rookies)
Francisco Cervelli- 1/1. (2012 Topps Heritage)
    Brandon Laird- 1/1. (2011 Topps)

    Tommy John- 1/1, 1/1. (1985 Topps, 1987 Topps)

I also retrieved my 2 cards I left with a friend from the Kent Hrbek signing on Aug. 8th at the stadium. (1985 Topps, 1987 Topps)

I did not stay for post game as both teams were leaving town and chances were good none of them would come out the front exit.

Today Mickey Rivers did a signing at a car dealership in Rochester, NY, not far from where my son goes to school. I was visiting today anyways, so I went a little earlier to hit the signing. Mickey was very friendly and talkative, and sigs. were limited to 3 per person:

    Mickey Rivers- 3/3. 78T, 79T, 85T.
