Those black parallels usually fetch about a dollar each, at least the Bailey's do, so you did pretty well with 3 packs of them!

I figure you get 2 packs per blaster, the blasters retailed for $20 apiece, so 3 packs is what, $30 worth of cards? :-P If only that were true... but no, they are an excellent grab in terms of value, definitely worth more than the $1 per pack that the box averages out to.

Just putting together the finishing touches for the last segment folks!

So there you have it! An actually pretty decent 20-packer for $20 from the Wally World! I've found I have the best luck with these when you grab one that doesn't feel like it's bulging at the seams.

Really pleased about the Black Background exclusives, those were a really nice pickup in the box. And of course 3 packs of Ginter were awesome, too. Really, no complaints here!

If you see something you like, it can probably be wrested from my hands pretty easily. Those that know me know that I love PWE trades! And minis. I love minis.

Thoughts? No ink or fabric, but then again my name isn't Steve and I'm not so awesome I get that stuff every single time I buy cards. :-P Just kidding, Steve!

Oh, and thanks for the read! -Ryan

How are these things 60% of the price of stuff in my neighborhood? I need to find one of these Fred's... seriously.

I know what you mean not feeling lucky. I wasn't feeling any of the 2012 Topps Series 2 blasters. Plus I love Ginter. I think I made the right choice.

Now, I need to somehow get to the LCS after work to get a corrugated cardboard box to transport all of the cards I got this trip without going to Wally World on the way back... because there is another one with a wonderful pack of Ginter in the front window calling my name... I can hear it from a mile and a half away...

Haha, what does that even mean?

Thanks for all the detail on your break, it was a fun read!

When you pick them up, there are some that are really, really, really thick. They feel like they are literally bulging out of the box, and may even visibly be doing so. They basically stuff the bigger rack packs of all base cards in there and there's really only room for another 14 packs of the regular 5-12 cards or whatever (the regular single packs, normally retail for $3... you know?) As a result the box is bowed outwards and is bulging.

Glad you enjoyed reading it! Sorry I don't have another one today, BUT, I do have a slightly more exciting break...
